What is a superset...and a workout!

A super set is a type of workout where you move quickly from one exercise to the next with little to no rest in between. You can do many different types of super set workouts; for example working opposing muscles, working the same muscle group, or super setting strength with cardio. I have listed one of my favorite super set workouts below. It focuses on your upper body so it’s great since tank top season in here!! All you need is a heavy (20lbs) and light (10lbs) set of dumbbells. Make sure to warm up and cool down before and after the workout. Perform 15 reps of each exercise before moving to the next exercise in the super set. Perform each super set 3 times.

Superset 1:

Bent Over Row (heavy)

Chest Fly (light)

Superset 2:

Back Fly (light)

Chest Press (heavy)

Superset 3:

Side Extensions (light)

Front Extensions (heavy)

Superset 4:

Bicep Curls (light)

Skull Crushers (1 heavy)
