Super Bowl Sunday

It’s Super Bowl Sunday, what does that mean? Throw your diet out the window? no way! I always suggest to my clients to do a few things before attending a party where food and alcohol play a big part. First thing you should do when you wake up in the morning before a big party is begin drinking water, this keeps you hydrated and later on your body will not mistake dehydration for hunger. Next, get moving and do some sort of quick workout. This could be a walk around the neighborhood or how about a pre-game touch football game. My last suggestion is to make sure you eat breakfast and lunch before the party. Some people make the mistake of not eating so they are “saving” their calories for later. This typically always leads to over eating because you are starving by the time you get to the party. I hope these suggestions help! Have fun but make good decisions today, don’t let all your hard work from the week be for nothing.
