Sugar Addict

Unfortunately many of us are addicted to sugar, we may really enjoy it but it is so bad for our health (and our waistline). There are many benefits of cutting sugar out of your diet for example you can reduce the following, acid reflux, migraines, joint pain, and anxiety. According to the American Dietetic and Diabetic Association increased sugar consumption is the leading cause of degenerative diseases. So how do you kick the habit? Start by committing to detox from sugar the less you eat it the less you will crave it. Start by not eating sugar for 10 days this will help to reset your brain and body. Do not drink your sugar, stop the unsweetened teas and diet sodas. Make sure to get enough sleep, a lot of times when we are sleep deprived our bodies think we need the sugar even though we do not! Once you detox your body it will be much easier to eat small amounts of sugar occasionally with out becoming addicted once again.
