Stubborn Belly Pooch

Do you ever look in the mirror and see that lower abdominal pooch that many of us have…well what would you say if I told you stretching could help eliminate the pooch! Tight hips can cause your pelvis to tilt anteriorly, which causes your hips to sit unevenly from front to back causing your spin to have an excess amount of curve. An anterior pelvic tilt can also cause back pain and posture issues along with the added belly pooch. But fortunately there are stretches that can assist in stretching your hip flexors! Some of the most beneficial in my opinion are the pigeon, the butterfly, a kneeling hip flexor stretch, and frog pose.
