Stott Method of Reformer Pilates

At Live Fit, we are offering the STOTT method of Reformer Pilates. We deliver our Pilates instruction just like we do our personal training programs, one on one. STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine, improve core strength and stability, and restore symmetry to the muscles around the joints. There is a strong emphasis on pelvic placement and scapular stabilization. The goal is to be able to move the arms and legs through resistance exercise while maintaining the stability and alignment of the spine. This method of exercise is beneficial for all body types and abilities. A Pilate’s program can be developed and modified to challenge every motion. Reformer Pilates is a great addition to your typical strength workouts because of the emphasis on stabilization muscles along with restoring symmetry to your muscles.
