Shrimp Taco Recipes

Last week I posted a picture of fish tacos and I had a few clients asked about the recipe so I figured I would post it on here! We made ahi tuna, tilapia, and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were by far the best and I think it was because of the jalapeno ranch that we used for the sauce. IT WAS AMAZING! So if you’re looking for a recipe for tomorrow night because of lent give this a try! We used flour tortillas but you can always make it a little healthier by using lettuce wraps.

Serves 2

Taco Ingredients:

1 lb raw pealed and deveined shrimp

1 tbls chili powder

6 small tortillas

Juice of ½ lime

1 tbls olive oil

Avocado

1 Jalapeno

Jalapeno Ranch:

1-2 seeded jalapeno

1 c. fat free oikos Greek yogurt

1 packet ranch seasoning

1 handful cilantro

Directions:

1. Pulse all the jalapeno ranch ingredients except for the yogurt in a food processor until smooth once smooth add the Greek yogurt.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, pat the shrimp dry and then add chili powder. Sauté the shrimp for 5-8 minutes flipping occasionally.

3. Serve tacos with shrimp, a drizzle of ranch, sliced avocado, diced jalapeno (more if you like spicy) and the juice of one lime squeezed over the top.
