Quick Dinner Ideas

Some days cooking just sounds horrible! You get home late, and sometimes all you want to do is sit down and relax. Today I thought I would share some of our go-to meals when we do not want to spend much time in the kitchen. We try to cook dinner about 5 times a week, some nights they are new recipes and take longer to cook and other nights they are something we can throw together very quickly. Check out the list below of our go-to options when we want something that allows us to stick to our diet and be prepared quickly. I try to keep most of these items in the freezer that way I always have a quick and healthy meal on hand.

There are also a few recipes that we always double in order to freeze them and have a quick dinner option. I have a listed a few of them below!

  • Chili: The recipe we use is posted on the blog
  • Chicken Tortilla Soup: The recipe is also on the blog, if making to freeze leave the cream cheese out and add it when you are reheating
  • Browned Ground Turkey: We always cook extra to have on hand for frittata's or lettuce wraps
