Outdoor Workout Tips

With the weather beginning to come around a lot of us are going to take our workouts outside. Exercising outside is a great distraction from the boring treadmill or the same old exercises at the gym but make sure you stay safe while doing it! While exercising outside you experience the climate so make sure to stay hydrated, especially if you are sweating a lot. Also make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Moisture wicking fabrics are the best when it is hot outside and also make sure to wear a bright color to make sure drivers can see you if you are near the road. Make sure to bring your id, cell phone, and a little bit of cash in case of an emergency. Also, make sure to let some one know where you will be and when you plan to be home. The biggest thing most people forget when they are working out outside is forgetting to put on sunscreen; even a 30 minute jog in the sun can cause sun damage.
