How to Beat Belly Bloat

What exactly is belly bloat? It is abdominal distention causing your belly to feel full or tight. We have all probably experienced this in our lifetime and know it can be extremely uncomfortable. So lets talk about how we can prevent belly bloat.
Avoid constipation…that’s easier said than done but making sure you are getting enough fiber and water in our diet will help.
Don’t drink too many carbonated drinks: this can cause gas to get trapped in your stomach, which leads to the bloating feeling.
Limit your sodium intake
Rule out food allergies: wheat and/or lactose intolerance can cause excess gas or bloating. Your doctor can test for these allergies.
Don’t eat too much sugar-free foods: they have sugar alcohol and that can lead to bloating.
Slow Down: eat slower and chew your foods, not chewing your food can cause air swallowing that leads to bloating.
Don’t chew too much gum: this can also lead to swallowing air, which can cause bloating.
Eat smaller meals more often.
