"Fried" Pickle Recipe

Can you believe today is the Super Bowl?! The Super Bowl is a great time to hang out with friends and unfortunately eat a lot of junk food! I wanted to share a healthy recipe that would be a great football appetizer!

Ingredients:

16 oz jar of Pickle slices

2 eggs

1/3 c. Flour

1 teaspoon Chili Powder

1 teaspoon Pepper

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 tbls Hot Sauce

1 tbls Worcestershire Sauce

3 c. Panko Bread Crumbs

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 450° Lay pickle slices on paper towels and pat dry. Place eggs in a medium sized mixing bowl, add flour and mix. Next add chili powder, pepper and salt, garlic powder, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce making sure to mix well. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add bread crumbs to a bowl then dunk pickle slices in egg mixture then dredge in bread crumbs and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, flip and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.

We dipped our "fried" pickles in ranch and they were great! Let us know if you try the recipe.
