Different types of protein for smoothies

I absolutely love smoothies and I am always looking for different variations, I love fruit smoothies and sweet smoothies with chocolate and I typically always put protein powder in my smoothie. Well yesterday I was out of protein powder...I know shocker! So I was looking in the cabinet trying to find other ways to increase the protein in my smoothie. I ended up adding chia seeds and peanut butter. But this got me thinking, what other ways could you add protein without protein powder and I came up with the list below:

peanut butter

almond butter

chia seeds

quinoa

kale

cottage cheese

milk

oats

avocado

Let me know if you try any of these! I have had oats, milk, peanut butter, chia seeds, and kale and I think they all taste great in the right smoothie!
