Crockpot Chicken Wing Recipe

I have had a lot of clients request more recipes, well I have to say I have never thought of myself as much of a cook but I will keep trying! Most of my recipes are simple and quick just like this one below.

My younger brother comes over for dinner once a week so I am always trying to find fairly healthy recipes that a 23 year old will like. I feel like you can never go wrong with buffalo chicken wings and the fact that they are mostly made in a crock pot makes it even better! We had to go to the suit shop to pick out wedding suits this night so it was nice to have the majority of the cooking done before we got back.



Chicken Wings (2-3 lbs)

12 oz Red's Hot Sauce

2 tbls Ranch Seasoning Mix

3 tbls Butter


Add the chicken, buffalo sauce, and butter to a crockpot. Cook on high for 2-2 1/2 hours. Remove from crockpot and place on a parchment paper lined baking dish making sure the wings are not touching. Broil on high for 3-4 minutes each side or until wings are crispy. While the wings are in the oven place remaining sauce into a sauce pan and simmer to thicken up the sauce. I took the time to skim some of the fat from the sauce...truthfully it just grosses me out! Once the sauce has thickened toss the wings and the sauce in a bowl and serve immediately. We served ours with celery and carrots. Let me know if you try this recipe!

**I have made wings in the crockpot without broiling them...just cook on low for 6 hours.

***Clean up of the crockpot is rather difficult so if you have the crockpot liners I would suggest using them!
