Clean Eating Grocery List

Today I would like to give you an idea of what types of things I buy from the grocery store to make eating clean easier! If clean eating foods are readily available you will be more likely to make healthy choices rather then grabbing a cheese burger from McDonalds just because it is convenient. Below I will list what I make sure I have available at home so I am prepared to make easy meals during the week.
Veggies: Broccoli, Kale, Spinach, Green Beans, Zucchini, Mushrooms
Protein: Chicken Breast, Fish (typically white), Shrimp, Turkey Meat, Eggs
Grains: Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Sweet Potatoes, Whole Grain English Muffins
Fruits: Bananas, Strawberries, Clementine’s, Lemons
Dairy: Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Milk
Oils/Fats: Peanut Butter, Almonds, Extra virgin Olive Oil
Condiments/Seasonings: Salsa, Soy Sauce (low sodium), Honey, Stevia
Rules I try to follow throughout the week to make sure I am eating as clean as possible:
- I try to bake, steam, or grill
- Eat mostly meat and vegetables for dinner
- Eat fruit for breakfast
- Drink at least 64 oz of water each day
