Bone Broth

Have you ever heard of bone broth? If you haven’t, bone broth is a liquid that is made from simmering animal bones for 8-24 hours. Bone broth allows us to consume the nutrients from the bones that we would have no other way of eating. Bone broth is rich in nutrients like gelatin, collagen, and amino acids. What do those nutrients do for us? Bone broth’s nutrients help aid in digestion, decrease joint pain, promote strong hair and nails, and so much more! I have never made bone broth on my own but I have a friend that makes it all the time. She uses different recipes she finds from the Internet and everyone I have tried has been good! I know that it sounds a little gross but it really just tastes like any other broth. Typically she adds vegetables and herbs to help with the flavors.
