10 Minute Work Out Ideas

Finding time to workout can be difficult, we all have so many things going on in our lives and there is only 24 hours in a day. Working out needs to become a priority, you would not skip a work meeting or decide not to pick up your kids from school and that is how you should view working out.

To live a healthy life style you should get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes a week of vigorous activity. Strength training should be done at least twice a week. Moderate exercise includes brisk walking, light elliptical training, or swimming. Vigorous aerobic exercise includes running, aerobic dancing, or kick boxing. You should try for 30 minutes of physical activity each day; this can be split up into multiple sessions each day.


10-Minute Work Out Ideas:

Perform 100 of each of the following exercises taking breaks when necessary

Jumping Jacks

Squat Jumps


Plank Hold (seconds)

Perform each exercise for 45 sec. then rest for 15 sec. and move on to the next exercise (repeat twice)
Push Ups

Mountain Climbers

Sumo Squats (wide legs, toes pointed out)

High Knees

Tricep Dips

Perform each exercise

50 Walking Lunges

40 Jumping Jacks

30 Crunches

20 Squats

10 Burpees
